Speeding things along, i condensed 4 pages into 1 here, figuring you really didn't need/want to know all of that just now. Yes, i mean you in the back shouting "Sum up! Sum up!"

Is this an allegory for what's really going on?

That would seem like such a direct, easy to answer question. And yet-

For now, let's just say that there are a lot of realities, and patterns of histories, at play here. Any resemblance to your own may be purely coincidental.

The idiots built Shining City over a sink-hole! By the
way -3-, RQLT is way ahead of you on the TWC rankings! Hahahahahahah,
I'm the Queen of the castle, you're the dirty rascal...hahahahahahahah

Thanks, Unk - it's been a fun look to play with - folk art for the folklore. It'll continue through the end of this week, and then back to what passes as normal - for a while. (a brief while)

MO - why didn't you tell them that earlier?!?
And, technically, i think that might be a sink-hill.
And i know, darling. Of course i know - if you look at your voter records you'll find i've voted for you most every day, and have been cheering you on with pride.
(And i suspect you're not telling anyone anything new when you point out i'm a dirty rascal, eh?)

I haven't fully read this yet, but I gotta say thus far I really do enjoy the stark black and white.

Thanks - it's a decision that has forced both limitations and inspirations. When you read back, you can see how i've tried to convey psychedelic color in stark b&w and things like that. There were a number of factors, all from the artistic standpoint, that led to that decision. But, Bonus! It's the cheapest thing to print, too. ;)
